Burger Sliders
This simple appetizer is made easy by cooking the burger patty in a sheet pan before slicing into squares

- 12 slider buns
- 6 cheese slices cut in half
- 1/4 Red Onion thinly sliced
- 4 dill pickles sliced
- 12 toothpicks
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup sweet onion finely diced
- 1 clove garlic finely grated or minced
- 2 teaspoons Cumin
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
For the burger Sauce
Mix mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup until incorporated. Put in fridge until ready to use
For the burger patty
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large mixing bowl add ground beef, cumin, chili powder, egg, onion, garlic, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well. Spread mixture 1/2 inch thick onto a medium sized baking pan. Place in oven and cook for 15 minutes or until patty is browned. Halfway through cooking, pour excess fat out of the pan. Once cooked, cut patty into squares that fit the size of the slider bun.
To Serve
Add burger sauce to both sides of the bun, fold half of cheese slice in half and place on bun, add red onion, burger patty and top with a dill pickle.
