Simple Focaccia
Is there anything better than warm focaccia? Rich olive oil, with chucks of salt and the subtle hint of rosemary makes this recipe a fan favorite.
Eat the bread fresh from the oven with some olive oil and balsamic or use for your next turkey sandwich, panini, or grilled cheese. Check out our basic cranberry sauce to go with it!

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Combine warm water, sugar and yeast in a bowl. Allow yeast to sit until bubbly (about 5-8 minutes).
Using a stand mixer or a your hands, mix olive oil, 2 teaspoons of salt and 3 cups of flour. Knead dough until smooth and elastic. If dough is still sticking to sides of bowl, add more flour 1/4 cup at a time.
Remove dough from the bowl and grease the bowl with oil. Place dough back in bowl, cover with saran wrap or a towel and allow to rise for minimum 1 hour. Dough should be double in size.
Transfer dough onto a greased pan ( I used a 13 inch baking pan) and spread dough out evenly. Cover with towel or saran wrap and allow to rise again for 15-20 minutes. Using your fingers, poke dents into the dough. Drizzle approx. 3 tablespoons of olive oil over the surface of the dough. Sprinkle kosher salt, and fresh rosemary evenly over the top.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden.
