San Diego

What more can one say about the beautiful West Coast.  I decided to take a girls weekend away to San Diego.  A place, I think, is a little secret gem (atleast for us Canadians).  So, when my boyfriend  – a born and raised Texan – asked if we would like to head to San Diego, I didn’t fight it!   Food, Sun, Bubbly – check!

We decided to fly into LAX and take the “scenic” route by renting a car down the coast to SD.  I will say, although beautiful, the traffic was enough to gouge your eyeballs out.  Not a fan, but we did stop for some bar food at Hermosa Beach.  A beautiful beach town along the way to SD (picture below). This place is paradise and makes you forget about the road ahead.  My suggestion: if you are cramped for time, dont drive! It’s a mess.
